A common household dilemma involves large windows that require an extra long curtain rod. Believe it or not, you actually have quite a few options.

Most metal and wood poles can be spliced together to create that extra long length. Duct tape works on regular curtain rods and is hidden by the curtain pocket.
If you need a continuous curtain draw all the way to one side, you can use bypass or passing brackets and rings. Otherwise, connect your poles with splices and place a bracket at the seam to support it and hide it.
